Genocide Education Awareness Month Presentation
Time & Location
Apr 18, 2024, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Pontiac Free Library, 101 Greenwich Ave, Warwick, RI 02886, USA
About the event
The Genocide Education Project connects students and the community with the history of the Armenian Genocide. The Armenian Genocide serves as a precursor to the Holocaust, drawing many connections between these two terrible crimes against humanity. Please join descendants Pauline Getzoyan and Esther Kalajian for a talk which combines historical context with personal testimony to provide a first-hand account of the events during this tragic time in world history.
